One-hour, free workshop
We will be exploring the many types of orchids available, from the common to the unusual, their history
and specific cultural requirements for each type. We will cover some of the problems that may be encountered as well as techniques
for propagation, division and re-potting. We will also explain what to do with your plant after blooming and how to ensure
successful repeat blooms.

toward the novice Orchid grower, we will cover home care requirements for common and unusual Orchid species. We will demonstrate
re-potting, Division, Pest Control and finding suitable containers for growing and showing.
During the workshop, we will be offering orchid plants for purchase, from the
common to the exotic, decorative 'showing' containers, growing containers, potting mix, and "support systems".
Plants will be available in many sizes, from "starter" to "full bloom" specimens.
Do you already
have Orchids at home that are suffering? Bring them along, (please have them in a closed, clear plastic bag),
and we'll do our best to diagnose the problem.
