KANKAKEE SERIES ~ 3 Images available

Much of the character of any city is found in its aesthetics. What you see around you effects how you feel in that space. Kankakee is fortunate to have the charm afforded by the layering of buildings constructed throughout the history of the city.  In this series of three prints, my intention was to capture some of the aesthetic character of the city of Kankakee.

Each print is from an original drawing and is hand printed one color at a time. Each print is unique and has slight variations so no two prints are exactly the same. Less than 15 copies of each print were produced.

PREDATOR & PREY SERIES ~ 3 images available

This series of three prints was inspired by the illustrations found in children’s books from the turn of the century. The realism of the subject matter is meant to contrast the perceived innocence of the illustration style.
