Organic Lawn Care & Rejuvenation

Thursday, September 9th
4pm - 6pm

Acorn Design Source

Now is the ideal time to revitalize and rejuvenate your lawn into a thick, weed-free turf. Learn not only what to do, but what not to do. By starting an all-organic program now, you’ll get a jump start on next season. We will also devote some time to problem solving, including thin, shady areas; and purchasing sod vs. seed. Discussion will include the basics of watering properly, mowing heights and more. Bring your questions for this full two-hour workshop.

Carnivorous Plants ~ Care and Culture

Thursday, September 16th

We will also explore the tropical varieties; learn how to grow all of them successfully indoors or out. Not only will we cover their care requirements, but we'll describe exactly how each devours its dinner. We will be demonstrating the creation of  'Savage Gardens' (Carnivorous dish gardens). Plants and supplies will be available for purchase at the class.
